World Cup winning midfielder Toni Kroos has officially confirmed that he will be joining Real Madrid this summer. Kroos will be sold to Real for a fee of around 25 million euros as the player decided against extending his contract.
With just one year remaining on his current deal, Bayern Munich wanted to reap as much money as possible before the player could leave on a free.
Kroos told the press yesterday evening: “We’ve finished the World Cup in the best way possible. Now I’m going to Madrid, so that’s two dreams achieved."
