Fergie attacks another ref

Fergie attacks another ref

04 December 2007 - 20:19

Alex Ferguson has attacked Premiership referees for a second consecutive week after Rob Styles decided to book the Portuguese winger during Man Utd's 2-0 victory over Fulham.

  • Calum McFarlane confims double Chelsea injury boost
  • Chelsea set asking price for Nicolas Jackson
  • The Scotsman blasted referee Mark Clattenburg last week, after the latter sent the United boss off during the 1-0 defeat at Bolton.

He has now attacked another referee for booking Cristiano Ronaldo. Rob Styles believed the Portuguese winger dived in the game with Fulham.

"Why would he want to go down? He was on a hat-trick," Ferguson fumed.

"His reputation from years ago is still playing on the minds of referees. It was a ridiculous decision.

"It is quite unfair because he is nothing like that now."
