Wesley Sneijder set for Monaco transfer?

Monaco are weighing up a potential move for Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder. The Galatasaray player has told his agent that he wants to quit Turkey in favour of a move to France.

  • With two years remaining on his Galatasaray contract, the midfielder is not going to come cheap. In fact, it is understood that Monaco could have to pay as much as 20 million euros to secure a deal for Sneijder.

    Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini has been instructed by club directors that his team's wage bill must be reduced and the sale of Sneijder is an absolute priority before the start of the new Super Lig season.
