QPR bid for Leroy Fer rejected

Queens Park Rangers have had an offer for Dutch international midfielder Leroy Fer rejected. Newcastle are also believed to have had an offer turned down.

The talented midfielder is expected to quit Carrow Road in search of top flight football, but Norwich City are desperate to keep hold of the player. Fer has three years remaining on his deal and is very highly rated by QPR boss Harry Redknapp. German side Hamburg are also considering a bid for the central midfielder, having made an enquiry already.
