Edinson Cavani has been strongly linked with a transfer away from Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain this summer but the Uruguay international is planning to stay at Paris.

  • "I am doing fine in Paris and I plan to stay there, but you can see how this transfer market is, you never know. The plan was to stay in Paris and the club owners think that as well," said Cavani.

Cavani, 27, signed a five-year deal with PSG last summer after joining from Napoli for an estimated €64 million.

Cavani was reportedly unhappy at being played in a wide position to accommodate Zlatan Ibrahimovic in coach Laurent Blanc's 4-3-3 formation but now the situation has been resolved.

Manchester United have been linked with a move for the talented striker, but Cavani said he does not believe the French champions have any intention of selling him.
