Southampton defender Dejan Lovren will undergo a medical with Liverpool over the weekend after the clubs reportedly reached an agreement on a £20 million transfer.
The 25-year-old Croatian defender, who played in all of his side's matches at the World Cup, had spoken publicly about his wish to join the Reds.
Lovren will undergo his medical at Anfield before Liverpool return from their tour of the United States.
Liverpool have already bought Rickie Lambert and Adam Lallana from Southampton this summer.
Lovren, who joined Southampton from French club Lyon for £8.5 million last summer, will leave St Mary's for a four-year contract.
