Cerci to Monaco?

28 July 2014 - 02:56

Torino’s Italian forward Alessio Cerci is reportedly being pursued by Ligue 1 giants Monaco who are readying a €20 million offer for the player.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game

  • Monaco is eager to re-invest in their squad after the sale of star midfielder James Rodriguez to Real Madrid and Cerci is reported to be one of their top targets.

Torino however will be reluctant to sell Cerci after already losing Ciro Immobile to Borussia Dortmund earlier this summer but will let him go if a lucrative offer comes by.

The French giants will have to be ready to face plenty of competition as Serie A clubs Juventus and AC Milan are also reportedly eyeing his signature.

Cerci enjoyed a successful season in Torino, scoring 13 goals in 37 Serie A appearances while also aiding Torino to a place in the 2014-15 Europa League.
