Chilean international Arturo Vidal has reportedly agreed personal terms with Premier League side Manchester United on a £182,000-a-week contract, as he edges closer to a Juventus exit.

  • If reports of Italian daily La Stampa are to be believed, the 27-year-old midfielder is set to sign a five-year deal with the Old Trafford outfit.

Vidal, who is valued at around £42million, has been a top transfer target for Louis van Gaal throughout the summer, but it was suggested that the deal did not come through due to concerns over a knee injury he sustained last season.

But with claims that the player’s agent Fernando Felicevich has negotiated the wages with the Red Devils, it is now for the Serie A side to decide whether they want to let Vidal leave or not.

The former Bayer Leverkusen player is rumoured to have told his friends of his desire to move out of Italy and join the English giants and is pushing for a transfer away.
