West Ham to sign Morgan Amalfitano

West Ham have agreed a transfer fee with Marseille for midfielder Morgan Amalfitano. The player spent last season on loan at West Brom and is looking for a return to the Premier League.

The 29-year-old will sign a three year contract at Upton Park and completion of a deal will wrap up the Hammers\' transfer plans for the summer. 

The 5 foot 8 midfielder had a successful spell at West Brom last year and the club had hoped to secure a permanent transfer for Amalfitano but instead were told that the Frenchman preferred a move to a London based Premier League club instead.

Marseille have accepted a 3.5 million euro transfer bid for Amalfitano.
