Juventus are understood to be closing in on a deal to sign Manchester United's out-of-favour striker this summer.

Mexican star Javier Hernandez has found it hard to cement his place in the starting line-up in recent seasons, and reports had claimed that the talented forward could leave Old Trafford in the current transfer window.

According to TuttoSport, Serie A champions Juventus look set to add the 26-year-old to their ranks for the new season, with United open to selling off the talented striker.

French international Patrice Evra has already swapped the Red Devils for Juve this summer.
