Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla has ruled out a move to Atletico Madrid, instead insisting that he is happy to stay at Arsenal for the upcoming campaign. Santi helped the Gunners to Community Shield success with a goal in the 3-0 win last weekend.
Cazorla has been linked with a move back to his homeland several times in the past two months, but having signed a new deal with the Gunners, the former Villarreal man is happy to stay at the Emirates Stadium and rule out a move to Atleti.
"I've seen that in the papers, but nobody has told me anything personally and the only things I know are from the papers, so I don't know anything," said Cazorla.
"I'm only focused on training here and preparing well playing with Arsenal. It's paper talk. I'm well, I have the confidence of everybody, the support of the fans and we hope to have a good season.''
