Burnley have had a bid rejected for Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur. The player has three years remaining on his contract at the Championship side.

  • It is understood that Burnley's opening offer for the midfielder of 4 million pounds has already been rejected by the Latics.

    The talented 26-year-old has been often linked with a transfer away from Wigan, but instead Burnley are now to look for a new midfielder elsewhere after missing out on the Scottish international.
