Liverpool manager Rodgers wants to sign more new players

Liverpool to make more transfer signings

17 August 2014 - 16:28

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has promised that more players will be on the way to the club. Rodgers has suggested that he would like to sign at least one more striker in the coming weeks.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Having sold Luis Suarez to Barcelona, the Anfield side are ready to spend big to find a long term replacement.

Rodgers confirmed after the 2-1 win over Southampton that the club are still expecting to be busy in the transfer market: “There is maybe an area or two we will look at, but if the right players become available then we will look to do something.

“If not, then I’m happy with the squad of players and we’ll see that through. We’ve got another few weeks left yet, so we’ll see what’s available.”
