Premier League giants Manchester City have reportedly made a late bid for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Colombian international has been associated with a switch away from Monaco for the majority of the summer, with Real Madrid considered as his next destination.
However, Sky Sport Italia claims that the Citizens are ready to challenge Los Blancos, and have made a bid of their own for the talented striker.
The signing of Falcao could lead to the potential exit of Alvaro Negredo from the Etihad this summer.
