The Colombian international has been the subject of transfer speculation over the month, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid interested in his services.

However, latest reports reveal that Manchester United have agreed on a £12m fee to sign the talented marksman on loan for the rest of the season.

The signing of Falcao could reveal a statement of intent from Louis van Gaal, who has struggled to manage the club to a win this season.
