West Ham manager Sam Allardyce is hopeful that a transfer for Ludovic Obraniak will be completed before the summer transfer window slams shut this evening.
The highly rated attacking midfielder only joined Bundesliga side Werder Bremen this year and is apparently already heading for a move away from the Greens.
The Polish international, who has had spells playing in France - where he was born - for Metz, Lille and then Bordeaux, is already on his way to London to sit down and discuss personal terms with the Hammers. Obraniak will then undergo a medical with West Ham's staff.
The 29-year-old is available for just 2.75 million euros and will reject Hull City in order to complete a transfer to Upton Park.
