Real Madrid midfielder star Gareth Bale has admitted that he could make a return to White Hart Lane in the future.
The Wales international joined Los Blancos from Spurs in the summer of 2013, and has played a fundamental role in the club's Champions League campaign, where they ran out 4-1 victors over Atletico Madrid in the final.
The 25-year-old has revealed that he still remembers his time with the North London outfit, and a comeback may be likely in years to come.
"I'll never forget the great European nights at White Hart Lane. They were amazing," He said.
"Tottenham will always have a place in my heart. I hope the fans still love me even though I've moved on.
"I love Spurs fans; you never know, I could come back one day."
Bale scored 55 goals in 203 games for Spurs.
