  • The Spanish youngster, who hails from the famous La Masia academy, played his first competitive fixture for the Catalan giants against Elche in the La Liga this season.

The Gunners had been associated with a summer move for the 19-year-old, with reports claiming that the club had been in contact with the player's agent.

According to The Express, the North London outfit will join the three-way fight to land the signature of the talented striker.

The report adds that Munir is yet to sign a new deal at the La Liga giants, and could be sold if any club triggers his current release clause of around £9.4m.

Munir made his debut for the national side during their 5-1 win over Macedonia in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
