Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger will allow the sale of German international Lukasz Podolski in January, as he tries to lower the club's wage structure.

  • The Gunners currently have the highest wage structure in the Premier League, and Wenger is keen on selling off the club's out-of-favour players in order to reduce the bill.

According to The Metro, the North London outfit will look to cash in on the 29-year-old, with several Bundesliga clubs interested in his services.

Podolski played during Arsenal's 2-1 defeat at the hands of Southampton in the League Cup in midweek.
