Manchester United are understood to be interested in acquiring the signature of West Ham United defender Winston Reid in January.
The New Zealand international is currently in his last year on his existing deal with the Hammers.
According to The Mail, the Hammers boss Sam Allardyce will analyze the club's league position in January, and could offload the talented centre-back should they find themselves in a position of safety.
The report adds that United are keen on getting a deal done for Reid in the next transfer window, and are ready to offer a fee of around £3m for his services.
United are currently fourth in the Premier League standings.
