Manchester United are reportedly sizing up an offer for the services of one of the best midfielders from the Serie A.
Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal had been heavily associated with a move to Old Trafford over the summer, but a deal failed to materialize.
However, The Express claims that United boss Louis van Gaal is still keen on landing the signature of the Chilean international, who is believed to be considering his future at the Turin based outfit.
The report adds that the former Premier League champions will make a bid in the region of £48m to sign up Vidal when the transfer window reopens in January.
Vidal has scored two goals in six games for Juve this season.
