Liverpool look set to join Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur in the race to sign West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, The Mirror reports.

The England Under-21 international has been in top form for the Baggies, and has already notched up an impressive tally of eight goals in 14 games this season.

According to The Mirror, Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen on strengthening his front-line in the upcoming transfer window, and considers the 21-year-old as the perfect fit to his jig-saw puzzle.

However, the Reds are likely to face stiff competition from the Red  Devils and Spurs, should they make an opening offer for the talented striker in the New Year.

Liverpool play away at Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday.
