Former England international Frank Lampard is reportedly eager to spend the rest of the season on loan with Manchester City.
The talented midfielder joined MLS outfit New York City on a free transfer from Chelsea over the summer.
However, there was a twist in the story as the 36-year-old opted to make a swift return to the Premier League on loan with Manchester City until the New Year.
According to The Star, Lampard who is expected to join New York City for the training camp in January, wants to prolong his loan stint with the Citizens until the end of the current campaign.
Lampard has notched up five goals in 11 appearances for City this season.
