Man Utd eyeing Mario Gotze move

06 December 2014 - 10:06

Manchester United are reportedly preparing a January move for German World Cup hero Mario Gotze, according to The Star.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • The Bayern Munich man is understood to be among the top transfer targets for manager Louis van Gaal when the transfer window reopens in January.

The report claims that the Mancunian giants will make a huge bid of around £50m for the talented midfielder in the New Year, as van Gaal tries to strengthen his attack for the second half of the campaign.

However, Van Gaal recently revealed his disgust at the transfer rumours and feels that it is 'disrespectful' to the players at the club.
