Patrice Evra has been linked with a switch back to Old Trafford, according to a report.

The France international joined Juventus from Manchester United on a free transfer over the summer, and has since then made just eight appearances for the Old Lady amidst reports that he is struggling to live up with the style of play in the Serie A.

According to La Gazetta dello Sport,  Evra's lack of first-team action at Juve has prompted United boss Louis van Gaal to make an enquiry over his availability.

Evra made 379 appearances for United between 2005 and 2014.
