West Ham are to make a bid for Lazio defensive midfielder Lucas Biglia next summer. The Argentine has been lined up by the Hammers should the club be unable to wrap up a permanent deal for Alexander Song.
Biglia, who has spent the majority of his professional career playing in Belgium for Anderlecht, has been linked with a move to England several times. In 2013 the Argentinian decided on a move to Lazio and has impressed in Serie A. West Ham are concerned that they will be unable to agree a fee for Alex Song at the end of this campaign and thus have been on the look out for a replacement.
