The North London outfit have found goals hard to come by this season, with senior strikers in Emmanuel Adebayor and Roberto Soldado failing to find the net on a regular basis.

The report claims that Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is eager to bolster his attack in the New Year, and could make an offer for the 26-year-old\'s signature.

However, the only stumbling block would be the player\'s release clause which currently stands at £25m.

Doumbia has scored 10 goals in 19 games for CSKA Moscow this season.
