The Gunners manager Arsene Wenger is believed to be considering an offer for a new keeper in the upcoming transfer window, with summer signing David Ospina being susceptible to injuries.

A report from The Star claims that the Gunners will make a bid of around £4m to bring the former Germany Under-21 international to the Emirates in the New Year.

Trapp has 18 months left in his existing deal at the Bundesliga outfit.
