The father of Nabil Fekir has insisted that his son's future away from Lyon lies at Arsenal rather than being a bench warmer at Manchester City.
The 21-year-old has impressed one and all with his performances this season, and this has associated him with a switch to the Premier League, with Arsenal and Manchester City interested in his signature.
According to The Star, Nabil Fekir Sr has revealed that his son would leave Ligue 1 for Arsenal, as it is the only club where he can develop his skills.
"Nabil would like to finish 1st or 2nd and play Champions League football with Lyon." He said. "If he leaves, it'll be for Arsenal. It's the only club that can enable him to progress, with Arsene Wenger. He will not go to Manchester City to sit on the bench."
