Chelsea are reportedly eyeing a £24m bid for Juventus midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah, according to The Star.

The Blues manager Jose Mourinho had recently suggested that the club will not spend in the New Year.

However, The Star claims that the West London outfit are willing to move for Ghana international Kwandwo Asamoah in the winter transfer window.

The report adds that the potential move to Stamford Bridge could be delayed, as the 26-year-old is out-of-action for three months following a knee surgery.
