Southampton are readying a January offer for Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes, The Sun reports.
The 24-year-old has been associated with a switch to the Premier League in recent seasons, but Rovers have managed to keep hold of his services.
According to The Sun, the Saints boss Ronald Koeman is keen on signing a new striker in the New Year in order to boost the club\'s hopes of earning an European qualification spot come the end of the season.
The report adds that the South Coast outfit could consider an offer for the Scotland international in the New Year, given his excellent goal scoring ability.
Rhodes has scored five goals in 14 games for Blackburn Rovers this season.
