Liverpool have reportedly made a bid for Fiorentina goalkeeper Neto, according to The Mirror.
The Reds have lacked a top-class goalkeeper at the back this season, with Belgian international Simon Mignolet looking shaky between the posts in the big games.
The Mirror claims that the Merseysiders have finally decided to take in a new keeper and have made a formal bid in the region of £3m for Neto, whose contract at Fiorentina expires at the end of the current campaign.
Liverpool play away at AFC Wimbledon in the third round of the FA Cup on Monday.
