Manchester United are reportedly considered favourites to secure the services of one of Bundesliga's best in January, according to The Express.
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Ilkay Gundogan has been constantly linked with a switch away from the club since the summer, with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United interested in acquiring his signature.
The Express reports that Los Blancos are no longer keen on the German star following the arrival of the likes of James Rodriguez and Toni Kroos over the summer.
In addition to this, Dortmund are resigned to losing the talented midfielder in the current transfer window, with United readying a bid of around £16m for the 24-year-old.
