The Spanish youngster joined the Magpies from Spanish second tier side Tenerife over the summer, and has since then proved to be a revelation at the club.

According to The Star, Perez is considered high on the list of both the Gunners and the Red Devils, who are keen on strengthening their front-line in the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old has scored five goals in 22 games for the Tyneside outfit this season.
