Arsenal and Man Utd in race for Ayoze Perez

Arsenal and Manchester United will battle it out for the services of Newcastle United forward Ayoze Perez during the winter transfer window.

The Spanish youngster joined the Magpies from Spanish second tier side Tenerife over the summer, and has since then proved to be a revelation at the club.

According to The Star, Perez is considered high on the list of both the Gunners and the Red Devils, who are keen on strengthening their front-line in the current transfer window.

The 21-year-old has scored five goals in 22 games for the Tyneside outfit this season.
