Arsenal are reportedly keen on acquiring the signature of Boca Juniors forward Jonathan Calleri in the winter transfer window.

The talented youngster joined Boca from All Boys in the summer of 2014 and has since then notched up six league goals in 15 games for the Argentine outfit.

According to Fichajes.net, the Gunners boss Arsene Wenger had sent scouts to watch the 21-year-old in action this season.

The report adds that the North London outfit are confident of sealing a deal for the player's services having received a positive report from the scouts.

Arsenal are currently sixth in the Premier League.
