Liverpool want Muntari?

Liverpool want Muntari?

17 December 2007 - 11:09

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a January transfer move from Sulley Muntari. With Javier Mascherano's future at Anfield under question, Rafa Benitez is keen to bring in another solid midfielder and the Portsmouth man has impressed in his maiden year in the Premiership.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd can finally sign Ederson for huge bargain fee
  • Muntari grabbed an incredible brace against Aston Villa for Portsmouth in the 3-1 win. It seems that Benitez has lined up Muntari to replace the possibility of Mascherano leaving.

Muntari has admitted he may move if a big club came in for him: "I want to end up at one of the biggest clubs - that is every player's dream.

"Of course I will try my best here and help Portsmouth win many things, and maybe qualify for Europe, but eventually I would like to play for a bigger club."
