Queens Park Rangers have opened talks to sign striker Dani Osvaldo. The 29-year-old is currently on loan at Inter Milan from Southampton.

The Italian striker is wanted by Harry Redknapp to bolster his attack for the second half of the league season and has so far struggled for playing time since joining Inter Milan on loan.

Osvaldo initially failed to impress during his first spell in the Premier League and is known to favour a return to England to complete his unfinished business in England.
