Cardiff City have reportedly enquired over the availability of Stoke City defender Robert Huth during the winter transfer window.

The 30-year-old has fallen down the pecking order under manager Mark Hughes this season, and has made just three appearances for the Potters till date.

Hughes has recently insisted that he is open to sending the former Germany international on loan for the second half of the campaign.

According to BBC Sport, the Bluebirds are the latest club to have made an approach for the talented central defender.

Stoke City play away at Rochdale in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Monday night.
