Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has confirmed the signing of Pape Souare from Lille.
The Senegalese defender, who had been with the national side for the African Cup of Nations recently, had undergone a medical earlier in the day.
Parish announced the arrival of the talented full-back via his twitter handle.
"Delighted that @papesouare has just this minute signed for #cpfc . A warm welcome from all of us ." the tweet read.
Souare becomes the third player to join the Eagles this week, following the arrivals of Jordan Mutch and Shola Amoebi.
