Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul is rumoured to have opened talks with Serie A giants AS Roma. The French centre back has been in contact with Roma's coach Rudi Garcia regarding a loan transfer.
The Italians want to snap up Kaboul on a loan deal and then will have first option on a permanent move for the defender in the summer.
Kaboul has struggled in recent months with injury and this season has found life difficult at White Hart Lane, with Mauricio Pochettino preferring the likes of Federico Fazio at the heart of his defence.
Roma are said to have agreed a 6 month loan deal and will have first option to sign Kaboul permanently for a fee of around 2.5 million euros in the summer.
