Al Gharafa have tabled a £5m offer for Nigerian international striker Brown Ideye. The 26-year-old Lagos born forward has failed to impress since his arrival at West Brom and could now be sold on the cheap.
After impressive spells playing for French side Sochaux and Ukrainian giants Dynamo Kiev, Ideye was brought in at the Hawthorns as a potential answer to their goalscoring problems. However, since his move last summer, the forward has bagged just one Premier League goal.
WBA chairman Jeremy Peace has decided to cut his losses on the Nigerian forward and will listen to all offers. Al Gharafa have made their first offer on the player and that is expected to be accepted.
