Southampton are unlikely to sign up Feyenoord youngster Tonny Vilhena before the transfer deadline, according to a report.

The Saints boss Ronald Koeman had revealed his desire to sign up the 20-year-old on Friday.

However, according to Algemeen Dagblad, the Eredivisie outfit have rebuffed an offer from the South Coast side, in spite of the player\'s willingness to make the switch.

Vilhena has made 20 appearances for Feyenoord this season.
