West Ham United are inching closer to sealing a permanent deal for Tottenham Hotspur defender Younes Kaboul.
The 29-year-old defender has failed to cement his place in the first-team under Mauricio Pochettino, in spite of being named the skipper at the start of the campaign.
According to The Independent, the Frenchman will move across London to the Hammers for a reported fee of around £2.5m before the transfer deadline.
West Ham United have also been associated with a move for Everton's veteran defender Sylvain Distin.
