  • The 29-year-old joined the Nerazzurri on a season-long loan deal from Southampton last summer, but his spell at the San Siro was short lived after he was suspended for missing a training session.

Osvaldo has now revealed that he is hopeful of a return back to his nation of birth with Boca Juniors .

"Argentina? I would certainly like to return," the 29-year-old said. "I have never played in the Primera Division. I especially missed playing at the highest level with Huracan.

"But my real dream, which I've had since I was a child, is to play for Boca Juniors."

Osvaldo notched up seven goals in 18 games for Inter this season.
