Manchester City have been told to pay a fee in the region of £40m in order to acquire the signature of midfielder Yacine Brahimi from FC Porto at the end of the season.
The Algerian international has been in top form for the Primeira Liga giants this season, and is expected to leave the club in the summer with interest from all parts of Europe.
According to Portuguese daily A Bola, City are reckoned as favourites to sign up the former Granada star next season.
However, Porto are unlikely to settle for a fee less than £40m for the talented winger.
Brahimi has scored eight goals in 20 games for Porto this season.
