Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is keen on having Uruguayan striker Edinson Cavani at the club next season.
The talented striker has been forced to play as a second striker due to the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the centre-forward role at Paris Saint-Germain.
According to The Express, Cavani, who scored the equaliser for Les Parisiens against Chelsea in the Champions League on Tuesday, is regarded as the perfect fit at Old Trafford, with Radamel Falcao likely to be offloaded in the summer.
United are currently third in the Premier League.
