The Red Devils boss Louis van Gaal had revealed earlier this week that the club are likely to move for a new midfielder in the summer transfer window.

According to ESPN, United are still keen on the talented midfield star, and a move could be on the cards when the transfer window reopens next summer.

Gundogan has scored a solitary goal in 12 games for Dortmund this season.
