Liverpool are planning to offer an improved contract to young winger Jordan Ibe following his impressive spell in the first-team.
The 19-year-old was recalled by manager Brendan Rodgers from his loan spell at Derby County in January, and has since then played an important role for the Merseysiders on the right wing.
According to The Guardian, Ibe's current deal expires in the summer of 2017, but Rodgers is keen on offering the youngster with an improved deal following his excellent progress in recent months.
Ibe joined the Reds' academy from League Two side Wycombe Wanderers in 2012.
