Manchester United look set to offer a contract extension to midfielder Michael Carrick, according to The Mail.
The England international has had a season plagued by injuries, but his influence on the pitch has still proved vital to the club's progress.
A report from The Mail claims that the veteran midfielder will be given a one-year contract extension on his current weekly wage structure of £130,000.
Carrick's existing deal at United expires in the summer.
